I’ll tell you how to make the legendary pesto sauce with my own hands and how to store it properly to allow myself to enjoy the sauce at any time of year.
Pesto- another must have in Italian cuisine. It can be served with pasta or lasagna, in soups or just spread on toast. This basil sauce has a very fragrant and spicy taste that will give a unique aroma to your dishes.
Ingredients for 4 people:
-3 bundles of basil 25
grams of Grana Padana cheese (can be replaced with any Lithuanian hard cheese)
-25 grams of parmesan (can be replaced with any Lithuanian hard cheese)
-1 garlic clove-1
tablespoon of pine nuts-100
ml of olive oil-Peece of
Put the sauce in a jar, cover with a small amount of olive oil and plastic film. This way you can store the sauce in the fridge for a few days.
Or you can put the pesto in a pre-sterilized jar, pouring the sauce on top of a layer of olive oil. This will allow you to enjoy pesto sauce in winter, without spoiling the product.
You can also freeze the sauce in small jars so that it can be stored for several months.
