The National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci (Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci) on the occasion of its 67th anniversary gives an excellent opportunity for visitors with the free admission to the museum and its exhibits. On Saturday, February 15 from 19:00 to 23:00 the museum will be open to everyone.
The National Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci” is located in a former monastery of the 16th century in the heart of Milan, there is a huge number of exhibition pavilions and open air exhibitions, do not miss the opportunity to get acquainted with the most interesting inventions of the great genius Leonardo da Vinci.
The program includes fascinating excursions to get acquainted with the most important objects of the collections, such as the Transatlantic Conte Biancamano in the Air and Sea Pavilion, a fragment of the moon rock in the Space section, frescoes by Pietro Gilardi and Giuseppe Maria Castelli, as well as paintings by Pinacoteca di Brera in the Hall of the Last Supper, magnetic Guglielmo Marconi detector in the Telecommunications section and much more.
The program includes artistic performances, a performance by pianist Jusi Caruso, at 21.00 live music from the Cosimo jazz quintet and “Hot Coals”, installations and a special restaurant area. All events will be free until the empty seats run out (you can reserve the same evening in the information center).
