Cotoletta Milanese next to Brera:
It’s impossible to go to Milan without trying “Cotoletta alla Milanese”. This is one of the most favorite Italian dishes in Milan.
If you want to try real, tasty, fried and fragrant kotleta in the best Italian traditions, then I offer you a cozy restaurant where you can taste real Milanese cuisine at reasonable prices.
This local Italian restaurant is located in central Milan, on Corso Garibaldi, a 15-minute walk from Duomo. The restaurant is very popular among Milanese, so I advise you to book a table in advance.
The portions in the restaurant are very large, the prices are average and quite consistent with the quality. Quick service, the cost of service (coperto) 2 euros per person. This cozy institution in the Italian style, however, I advise you to choose outdoor tables, here you can truly enjoy the typical Italian atmosphere, because the restaurant is located in a beautiful pedestrian zone.
The menus of the chopletterella offer about 15 varieties of choplette in Milanese: from traditional, crispy, to choplette with sun-dried tomatoes, anchovies, mushrooms, various cheeses and spices. All the chops are accompanied by a side dish with a choice of fresh vegetables, grilled or steamed vegetables and potatoes. This is a great offer for many Milanese who are fans of this dish. There is a wide range of other dishes in the restaurant besides the koleta, however, when going to the kotlettery, I still recommend you to taste the highlight of the restaurant. The cost of cotlets from 14 to 18 euros, first courses from 8 to 10 euros, desserts 5 euros. There is also an excellent selection of wines and desserts, which are cooked in the restaurant itself. And I recommend to finish your meal with a cup of coffee, it is very tasty in this institution.
