Christmas tree on Duomo square
On December 6, 2019, at 17.00, a green beauty will light up its lights in the main square of Milan! This year, the Christmas tree will be made of a metal construction sparkling with a thousand lights. The municipality of Milan spent 1 million euro just on the tree!
In Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, meanwhile, you can already see the dome decorated with lights.
Christmas Market “Oh Bej Oh Bej”
Do not miss the traditional Oh Bej Oh Bej Christmas Market, which will be held at Sforzesco Castle from December 5 to 8.
Oh Bej Oh bej is undoubtedly one of the oldest Christmas markets in the city. For over 500 years, this traditional fair has been gathering thousands of people. Fragrant smells of local products fill the streets of the city, attracting both children and adults. Here you can taste traditional sweet donuts and candies, cheeses and salami, tinctures and wines, purchase handcrafts and much more.

Christmas Market at Duomo Square
Among Christmas markets, one of the most visited is “il Mercatino di Natale in Duomo”, which this year will be held in the heart of Milan from December 1 to January 6.
From Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and via dell’Arcivescovado to Piazza Fontana, wooden huts with local artigianale products and gastronomic delicacies from different parts of Italy will again take their places.
Exhibition of Craft Products “L’artigiano in Fiera”
The famous craft exhibition “L’artigiano in Fiera” will be held in Milan (Rho-Pero) from November 30 to December 8, 2019.
Entrance to the exhibition is free. However starting from this year, in order to get to the exhibition, it will be necessary to register in advance on the official website.
For 9 days, everyone can become a participant in a grand event for free. Many new products await guests: from restaurants to musical performances, from culinary schools to needlework courses.

Filippino Lippi “l’Annunciazione” at Palazzo Marino
This year again it will be possible to contemplate for free a great masterpiece at Palazzo Marino. The exhibition presents the work of Filippino Lippi “l’Annunciazione”.

Christmas concert in the Duomo
The annual Christmas concert in the Duomo can not be missed.. December 20 will be a free event open to all.Admission is free until 18:45 pm, until empty seats run out.

Skating enthusiasts will be able to ride in different parts of the city
One of the favorite skating rinks in the city center is the skating rink in the Giardini di Porta Venezia park. In Giardini Indro Montanelli on Porta Venezia returns the Village of Miracles “Villaggio delle Meraviglie” with the house of Santa Claus and Befana, as well as an ice rink and Christmas markets.

An interesting light installation at the Piazza Della Scala in the center of Milan:
This year a new surprise awaits guests and residents of the city!
From December 5 to January 6 an unusual light installation will be installed on La Scala Square.
The installation will be launched on Thursday December 5th at 5:30 pm along with the Engie Silent Party event, which will turn the Piazza della Scala into a huge silent ballroom where passers-by with special headphones can dance!
Italy’s largest Christmas Village
For the first time Milan will host the largest Christmas village in Italy: a huge park of 30 thousand square meters with giant dolls, a toy factory and, of course, a post office to send letters to Santa Claus.
